I am definitely pleased to be sending my son Dylan to Toptots , Westville. I used to take him to another such mum and child class but found that the stimulation and variety of things he is getting at Toptots is much better and have therefore only continued with Toptots. His teacher is Caroline and I must commend her for the wonderful job she is doing. She is very patient, knowledgable and takes time out to cater for each child's needs. I have already recommended the class to most of my other friends who have just become mums so that they can benefit from Liz's wonderful venture. Well Done Toptots Westville

I just wanted to send a short note on the excellent work that Rakhi from the Midrand Toptots is doing.  My daughter and I have been going to Toptots for the past 16 months and it is a delight to see how my little shy baby has blossomed into an interactive friendly toddler – she is a stay at home child.

 Rakhi is exceptional at engaging with all the kids in the class and goes out of her way to ensure every class is really exciting.  Her material is of the best quality and is indicative of the standard that Rakhi has developed.  In general the Toptots curriculum is very relevant and engaging to the kids.  Rakhi always encourages parents to take back the activities home to further encourage the work done at class.  I also am really surprised at the number of Dads that attend the classes as well which shows me that Toptots and Rakhi have done a great job in making what was traditionally a mums and kids only class, a fun session for the whole family. 

 As a working mum, Toptots time with my little one is really special, I love watching every minute my child is given a new challenge and watching her engage with other children, and have a lot of fun at the same time and would like to say well done to yourselves and Rakhi for a great experience.

Dear Liz,

My daughter and I are in Julie’s Thursday morning class – and we are devastated that Julie is leaving us.  Whilst I can appreciate that she is moving on, Thursdays will not be the same without her.  I know that I am not the only one! L

I wrote her a little note after she told us she was leaving - and thought that you might like to share it with other mums, or visitors, to your website.  I noticed that you have a ‘feedback’ page… Julie has been a special part of our lives these past few years and I think it would be lovely to include this.

'It has been an absolute pleasure being in your class these past few years – we have enjoyed each and every lesson with you. We will miss the special care that you have taken to teach us how to have quality interaction with each other – and give us the knowledge to learn and grow with each other (Top Tots).  You have managed to achieve all that Top Tots proclaims in its Mission Statement; you show such love for each and every child in your class. 

As I have said before, Caitlin and I look forward each week to another fabulous class at Top Tots - with you.  I love the way you show us what ‘simple’ activities we can do with our kiddies – and the way that you always have such wonderful tips for us and you encourage us to do our best for our little ones.  You also let us know that we are not alone in what we are going through - and that we (and our kids) are ‘normal’.  Your enthusiasm is infectious and we find ourselves managing to accomplish so much with our little ones.  You are the best!  We are fortunate enough to have been able to learn all that we have from you, in the time that we have shared together. You have always been there for us, with little tips and huge amounts of guidance for us, in our journey called motherhood.

I wish you all the best in your new venture.  You are an absolutely wonderful, caring, special person and I know that you are going to do well.  The people you are going to interact with are going to be lucky to have you in their lives.

We will miss you terribly!  Thank you for a wonderful adventure – and for making Top Tots a great experience for us!

Toptots is brilliant, the best way for me to interact with my daughter in stress free, safe & loving enviroment.

Keegan and I both LOVE going to TOPTOTS and it is honestly the highlight of our week! Everything we do with the children can easily be adapted to doing at home and I've learned so much about how babies and children develop both from the class itself and the other moms. I've also made very good friends with the other moms there and we have so much in common with our children all going through the same things at the same time. Thank you for a wonderful programme :-)

Toptots is the highlight of my week. Miriam inspires me to be a better mom. I enjoy the activities with my boy of 11 months and the interaction with the other moms. It is a extremely enjoyable experience every week. Will recommend to everyone with a baby or toddler.

Toptots Ballito is an enthusiastic and passionate about teaching babies and toddlers and has been a fantastic experience for me and my children. Thank you.

Natalie is excellent and makes the Toptots experience fun for mums and babies. We are all encouraged to meet outside of class which has helped to form a great support network for new mums. Top Tots gives you easy and affordable ideas to try at home.

It is wonderful to meet up with other moms and share tips and experiences! The class also gives me ideas on how to be more creative with making educational and fun crafts for my son. The musical stimulation he has received at Toptots has definitely sparked such a love of music and awakened a possible talent in that field. Kyle and I look forward to Wednesday mornings.

I absolutely LOVE my experience with Natalie at Toptots Ballito. Not only is she enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and has stimulating projects every single class, but I have become really close with the other mums in my group, which has been very helpful and comforting, as we are all new to Ballito (we have a very international group, with members coming from the U.K, Ireland, Canada/Japan, and South Africa!) We all agree that we would be lost without our weekly Top Tots session.

Lara is such a wonderful person, she takes time to get to know each little person and sees them as individuals. My little boy loved going to Top Tots and it would be a battle each week to get him out of the class and into the car. Lara also had good sound advice for problems we encountered along the way. She takes the time to ask about each and every person and remembers to follow up if need be. She is a true professional but still a warm and energetic teacher. Since joining Toptots with Rakhi in Midrand, my little girl has never had so much fun and interaction with other children. She loves going to see Tommy every Saturday and its all she talks about when she wakes up in the morning. Rakhi makes the classes fun for kids and parents. Definitely love it!

as a fellow educator I know how important stimulation is. My children have benefited enormously from the classes and we have made some life long friends. Top Tots stretches you to do things that you would never do at home and makes you aware of the different stages of development. I feel that it has defenitely made me the mom that I am today. Many of my friends already go because of my positive experience.

My son and I love it. It is an amazing concept for parents to be so involved in their child's early learning. The activities are not complicated and easy to repeat at home

Natalie is the BEST!!! her enthusiasm & dedication is contagious & my daughter & I look forward to EVERY class with her! she also arranges so many additional meetings for moms & holds talks by specialists. she really is BRILLIANT at her job!!! we love her!

I want to thank you for the guidance, advice, patience and genuine care you've shown to BOTH of us over the past year. Being a first Mom is daunting to say the least and you personally, and TOPTOTS generally has made that path an easier one to negotiate. Tom-e will always have a place in Michael's heart along with Wheels of the Bus, Point to the Ceiling (pull, pull, pull) and Rock, Rock Rock, STOP, SHHHHHH! We've had a wonderful year and will always be grateful ( and sorry we didn't discover you earlier!). Michael is settling into Two Little Fishes and finding many familiar faces!

One thing that hasn't changed from TOPTOTS is Michael's enthusiasm for "song time"! According to Jaquie he participates with vigor and does all the actions....  I have a greate memory of you saying you'd hand over that portion of the lesson to him the following week!

I can add to that now that we've had the experience of "school". I firmly believe that grounding, skills and lessons learnt at TOPTOTS facilitated a smoother transition to play school. Michael is familiar with many of the songs they sing, he enjoys the "artwork" and just loves the free play. All things he learnt about and participated in at TOPTOTS (mostly because I was too afraid of the mess in my home!)

Another thing I'd like to mention is the little bits TOPTOTS does to give Mom's (and the rest of the family) little concrete memories. Let me explain. The first two years go by so fast, and as a mom you're so "in the moment" that you blink and your baby is gone, replaced by a toddler. I have a folder of "artwork" from our time from TOTPTOTS and there, in vivid and glorious colour, is the proof of the growth in the form of hand and foot prints. From an octopus hand to footprints on a poem, a butterfly from hand prints and a reindeer from both hands and feet, his growth and development is documented almost monthly. And what lovely memories bring back as I page through the file, not to mention the fantastic ideas they give me when we do our own artwork at home (yes, TOPTOTS taught me to be braver about that too!)
